Rex Burkhead/Dion Lewis, NE RB
Flip a coin on any given drive and hope Bill Belichick decided to roll your guy out there. Gronk and Cooks draw enough attention from the defense to give just about everybody else single coverage. Brady is dealing and the Raiders and Dolphins are those guys that roll up to the blackjack table with wrinkled 5’s, 10’s, and 20’s.
Jamaal Williams, GB RB
Aaron Jones is out for a few weeks and Montgomery has been nursing a rib injury for a while now. Williams is in a prime position to earn a possible starting role in the next couple of games. He is a prime stash for playoff teams as he may be getting hot at just the right time.
Dontrelle Inman, CHI WR
Despite only being on the Bears for 2 weeks, Inman managed to pull in 6 of 8 targets for 88 yards against the Packers. I don’t think I could name another receiver on the Bears off the top of my head so let’s roll with this guy against the Lions. I mean even the Browns managed to put up some points on the Lions,
Roger Lewis, NYG WR
The Giants hit rock bottom again. Sterling Shepard had a pretty good game because somebody had to catch the ball. Expect the Chiefs to shut him down, leaving Engram and Lewis as the primary beneficiaries when the Giants go down 20 in the first half.
Jamison Crowder, WAS WR
After missing last week to nurse his hamstring, Crowder came back strong against the Vikings and hauled in four receptions for 76 yards. Don’t blink now, but Crowder now has 13 receptions for 199 yards in his last two games. He has yet to reach the endzone this year, but is worthy of FLEX consideration down the stretch in PPR leagues.
Jermaine Gresham, ARI TE
Drew Stanton can’t make more than two reads in his progression so when Fitz is double covered, Gresham and running backs will be easy check downs. The Cardinals have a great matchup against a struggling Texans team next week, setting Gresham up for at least one more week of production.
The Entire Cowboys Organization
Everything that can be said has already been said about the trouble that America’s Team is in. Dez sucked again, but now everyone on their roster is about to be exposed. Avoid starting any of their players for fantasy (and I guess real life) purposes – The Eagles will pound them this week.
Buffalo Bills D/ST
After starting the season with seven good games, the Bills’ defense has fallen off a cliff. They put up 0 points against the lowly Jets last week and let New Orleans run all over them this week. With the Chargers, Chiefs, and Patriots on the schedule, this is likely the worst defensive option for teams heading into the fantasy playoffs.
