It’s Fantasy Football Championship Week. Hopefully you aren’t in need of huge pickups for Week 16, but we’re here to help in case you are.
Dion Lewis, NE RB
Lewis finally got going against the Broncos, totaling 95 yards on 18 carries. While the worry will always be that LaGarrette Blount is going to take the goal line carries, there is still plenty to be excited about in Lewis, who was New England’s lead back in 2015.
Cameron Meredith, Chi WR
Meredith has been trending up in his last three games and a plus matchup against the Redskins will allow him to continue balling out. Alshon Jeffery’s return means that Meredith will likely avoid being lined up against Josh Norman, so look for him to have a big day and don’t hesitate to start him in 12-team leagues.
Tyler Lockett, Sea WR
Lockett has at least six targets in his last four games and has also scored a touchdown in two of those games. His big play potential makes him a borderline flex play in PPR leagues.
Matt Barkley, Chi QB
Jeffery is back and Meredith is rolling, so Matt Barkley will have weapons to throw to. He put up 362 yards in the freezing cold against Green Bay, and users who need a QB in Week 16 won’t find a much better option on their wire.
Jerick McKinnon / Matt Asiata, Min RB
With the return of Adrian Peterson, McKinnon and Asiata will both see a significant drop off in usage. They were never particularly productive at any point this season, so if you were hoping on one to have a big day in the finals, you’ll have to keep hoping for a long time.
Quincy Enunwa, NYJ WR
Enunwa has seen plenty of targets from Bryce Petty, but has not been taking advantage. The Patriots D has been playing well recently so this isn’t a favorable spot for Enunwa owners who made it to the finals in their league.
